Cheerleading 🎉🙆🙆‍♂️

The last meeting of every month in the Young Farmers calendar is a County Meeting!

This is where all seven clubs from county join together for a meeting. 

This County meeting was hosted by us and was the county cheerleading competition!!

Each club was taught a routine to 'Hey Mickey' and then left to practise before the final performance and the winner was decided... 

 

 

Biggleswade piped us to 1st place but Silsoe did manage to come 2nd!! 🎉

Well done to everyone who took part!! 

Bootcamp Wednesday

This week Young Farmers had their very own boot camp by Tina from Full Bottle Fitness!!! 

 

      

Members had to do high knees, sit-ups, star jumps, bear crawls and some skipping to name a few exercises! 

Wheelchair Basketball

This week members got to try out Wheelchair Basketball! 

After being taught how to manoeuvre the chair members were then split into a 4 teams for a round robin competition! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After playing 3 games it was the green team of Liam, Emily, Alice, Isobel, George, Max and Sofia that came 1st!!

First week into the New Year and Silsoe Young Farmers took a trip to see Dick Whittington @ Milton Keynes Theatre!  🎭 

 

Silsoe Xmas Cracker

Every year Silsoe members gather with ex-silsoe members for a Christmas meal. 

This year we attended The Green Man @ Stanford for our meal. 

There was 40 people in total who joined in with Xmas games, photo booth and our best dressed competition!! (And of course eating Xmas dinner)

Beetle Drive with a Twist 😜 with Biggy YF

Last night members got involved in a Bettle Drive with a Twist A.K.A  a reindeer drive 😃 

 

Members brought 3 objects worth 20p, 50p and £1 and rolled a dice to try and build their reindeer. The winner got to swap one of their prizes with someone else's prize.

 

 

After 9 games the points were added and prizes were given to the overall winners.
